The guided tours to the highest point of the dome of the Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota began yesterday.
After climbing 150 steps, you will discover a 360° viewpoint, with endless views in all directions.
Visits run through the interior of the building and are guided by experts in the history of the Crystal Palace (Palácio de Cristal) - from the original building, built in 1865, to its replacement by the "Pavilhão dos Desportos" in 1952, highlighting some moments up to the current Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota.
At the end, you have the opportunity to ascend to the semi-spherical dome, which offers a unique perspective of Porto, from Boavista to Marquês, from Ribeira to Foz, and some of the most important buildings in the city..
The visits, in groups of 13 people, take place from Wednesday to Sunday and last for 40 minutes. Participation is forbidden to children under the age of 12, due to the imposition of insurance, and is not accessible to people who use a wheelchair. Tickets cost €12.50 and can be purchased on Ticketline.
